NOMADIC HERDER NYAMDORJ

A nomadic herder from northern Mongolia, in the Selenge country where our camps stand. Nyamdorj has raised horses on this land all his life — the riding routes around Tsagaan Nuur and the Yeroo river are home ground for him. On tour, the horses you ride are often his, and the ger you sleep in is his family's. He knows every hill, every river crossing and the weather before it changes.

I am deeply passionate about all aspects related to horses. I particularly enjoy crafting traditional horse equipment, such as reins, bridles, and buuguil, by hand. In addition, I take great pleasure in visiting unique destinations and guiding others by sharing the stories and cultural significance behind them. I find true fulfillment in creating, learning, and delivering meaningful experiences to people.
