☀ Departure: Between 4:00 and 7:00 AM towards the Gobi. Accommodation: Gobi campsite. Khongoryn Els is located in the Sevrei and Bayanbogd districts of Umnugobi Province, at the foot of the Gurvan Saikhan Mountains. It is one of Mongolia’s most stunning natural landscapes. • The distance from Ulaanbaatar is approximately 600–700 km. Depending on road conditions, the journey takes about 8 hours by car.
BAYNZAG
☀ Departure: After breakfast, heading towards Bayan Zag. Accommodation: Gobi campsite. From Khongoryn Els to Bayan Zag and Ulaan Ereg, the distance is approximately 150 km each, taking about 3–4 hours by car. 🏞 Along this route, you can experience the diverse nature and historical landscapes of Mongolia’s Gobi region.
YOLIIN AM
☀ Departure: After breakfast, heading towards Yolyn Am. Accommodation: Gobi campsite or hotel. From Bayan Zag (Flaming Cliffs) to Yolyn Am, the distance is approximately 110–120 km, taking about 1–3 hours by car. Yolyn Am is a deep gorge within the Gurvan Saikhan National Park, known for its cool temperatures where ice can remain even in summer, and its stunning natural scenery. Along this route, the landscape gradually changes from the red rocky plains to mountainous terrain, allowing you to fully enjoy the diverse nature of the Gobi region.
ULAANBAATAR
☀ Departure: After breakfast, heading back to Ulaanbaatar. The distance to Ulaanbaatar is approximately 600–650 km, taking about 7–9 hours by car. If you wish for an early city tour upon arrival, transportation can be arranged. ✨ Depending on the schedule, a translator may not accompany the tour. ❄️☃️ • City tour fee: 130 USD (includes driver, vehicle, and fuel). • With translator: additional 50 USD. During the city tour, you can choose your preferred destinations, or follow our recommended route. Entrance fees, lunch, and dinner are at your own expense. Accommodation upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar should be selected and booked by guests. 🏯
